Shoe designer – Jimmy Choo Elyse said she searched for months and months to find some shoes that were glamorous but also not your typical bridal shoe! I’d say she succeeded!
Did you make it the whole night wearing them? “I did wear them all day and night! They aren’t the most comfortable, but they aren’t the least comfortable either, so I suffered through in the name of beauty! There’s something about the buzz of a wedding day that makes you forget any physical needs!”
Bride’s name – Katie St. Germain
Wedding date – July 19, 2014
Wedding Venue – St. Mary’s Assumption and the Chicory
Katie wore these beautiful Badgley Mischka shoes that her sister actually wore to her wedding earlier in the year! So they were one of her many “somethings borrowed!” Katie says that she doesn’t “usually like a lot of bling but (she) thought they were just the perfect amount – like a little business in the front, party in the back!”
Did you make it the whole night wearing them? “I wore them through the ceremony and about an hour into the reception, once I was ready to hit the dance floor, they were a little too uncomfortable for that. I changed into some bejeweled flats from BHLDN.” (pictured above)
